John qualified in 1997 and has been mainly working in private practice since. He specialises in the areas of MSK and sports injury. In 2001 John completes an MSc in Sports Medicine in Trinity College and in 2005 completed a post-grad in Manual Concepts in Curtin University, Perth.
John has broad experience of working with various MSK issues. He has been working in private practice since 1999. He has worked in AIL rugby, with Munster rugby, with Tipperary hurling as well as with national squads in underage rugby and GAA. He opened SportsPlus Physiotherapy Nenagh in 2008 having previously established two clinics in Limerick.
He enjoys learning and challenging himself through reading, attending courses and conferences and interacting with colleagues. When he is not working, he is spending time with his wife and three boys, attending hurling matches or enjoying outdoor walks. He enjoys film, reading and innovating.
